Capture Your Opportunity

To foreigners, coming to America seems like freedom. To believers, coming to God seems like freedom; it doesn't matter where we are in the world. If we haven't submitted ourselves unto God- even believing that Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God- we are never free. On the other hand, we are free to choose what we want to do. Either way, you are free to do what you want to do. What will you get in return?

Written in John 6:36,  John recorded that Jesus said, "All that the Father gives me will come to me..."

Why do you suppose Jesus said this? Is it possible that Jesus was, in fact, the manifestation of a sinless God; yet, still subject to the law of man? Is it really possible that Jesus was perfect in the obedience of God- to do what was pleasing to Him, always? Everything that Jesus did was a work of God, and God always received the glory because Jesus was still a man, whom was subject to the will of God. In short, everything that Jesus did pointed to God.

Jesus understood that obedience to God would open more doors for God to use us, and He showed us through His wonders. A portion of Luke 12:48 states, "Everyone to whom much was given, much will be required of him."

In our obedience, we will be like Jesus- receiving everything that God gives us; not just Him having it for us, but us also receiving it.

God wants us to capture our opportunity!

God Bless You from this day, forward.
