Stumble-Lingers (Part Two)

Posted by Corey Mills on Monday, November 9, 2015 Under: Daily Flow
As read in our Daily Verse, Jesus stated, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat" (Matthew 7:13, KJV).  We can find that God enabled us the knowledge of the benefit of being different from the rest of the world. He iterates that the only way we can see- or understand this- is if He opens our eyes (see John chapter 9).

For many, our eyes are still closed.  There are multiple things that prohibits us from seeing what God enables us to see; two of those things are self-will and the allowance of demonic spirits to inhabit our lives. For instance, If we love pornography more than God, we are slaves of the spirits that keeps us going back to pornography.  As we give in to our worldly desires, it seems that we become engulfed in deeper, demonic strongholds; especially, after being released.  We know that many go through the same things, everyday; and it only gets tougher because it gets easier. Then, it becomes a habit; then, a lifestyle.  The next thing we know-- as Christian or as non-believers-- is that we've drifted so far from the will of God that it may seem impossible to return to His will.

Let's take a look: the Word says that if we look upon a woman and lust after her in our minds, then we are either one of two things: a fornicator or an adulterer by thought.  Satan knows this! And his will is to strategically place demonic spirits in your life to lead you completely off course from where God wants you to be-- that is the wide gate "and many there be which go in thereat."  However, God has sent His angels and His messengers to tell you what thus says the LORD, and to guide you back into the calling God has on your life.  Believe me!  It's not too late for your surrender. In God's eyes, you are not condemned!  You have been justified by the blood of the Lamb-- Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Now, all you have to do is surrender!  Let's pray: Our Father, Thank You for being God over my life and for protecting me when I was blind. Enter my heart and restore me into Your fold, Lord, that I may love and serve You. Release me from the demonic strongholds in my life; I no longer wish to serve sin, but to serve You all of my Life. Lord, Jesus, I believe in You!  In Jesus name, Amen!
