Discerning God's Path

Posted by Corey Mills on Sunday, July 26, 2020, In : Daily Flow
The daily verse triggers a thought: What does Jesus mean when He says He came to bring division? The question roots in the mission for which Jesus came; to save us from the wages of sin. Getting lost in the verses immediately after verse fifty one could be expected because the results are mentioned. Today, we will discuss what he meant by the division.

Take a moment to read further; perhaps to the end of chapter 12.

We see that Jesus mentioned that members of family within the house will be di...

Kingdom of God: The Spread

Posted by Corey Mills on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, In : Daily Flow
The world has questions. We were born in it, so we have questions. Since birth, we have learned the many components of our lives stem from observation, experience and growth. This is not limited to one culture; this is a "people thing". What is general law, and how did it come about? How do we know that pain - to most of us - is unattractive? How do we know that happiness is a certain type of internal achievement? The answer will likely revolve lessons we have learned as we grew older. How di...

Go, Please, Stay

Posted by Corey Mills on Saturday, August 10, 2019, In : Daily Flow
Life happens.... for us all. It seems that we have rare control over most details among the lives we live. Yes; this fact includes our day-to-day engagements, our thoughts and perceptions, and even our relationships with people.

When two people meet to spend seasons together, as did Elijah and Elisha; the prophets, those people become attached. Sometimes, the individuals become best friends, members who seem closer than siblings, spouses, or partners. Regardless of time, those formed bonds bec...

A Statement to Young Men

Posted by Corey Mills on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, In : Daily Flow
Please, allow me to be honest with you. I am a fellow servant, nothing more.

I had many self-regrets. I had thrown away many years into nothing and prospered in no way. Many of the wages of my works do not belong to me; they are unfairly taken by people I don't know. All of this came from a massive attack of my enemy; a divorce - several years ago - that drew me to run away into isolation with a devastating feeling of betrayal from the people I associated with. Anxiety became a problem,  drink...

New Vision

Posted by Corey Mills on Thursday, November 30, 2017, In : Visions
  1. I just saw the Earth destroyed internally.
  2. The ground caves in, Large holes everywhere. Houses and roads collapsing.
  3. Hills, decorations, people engulfed by lava from the ground that poured out everywhere, including the military. It came from Everywhere. The ground was soft. No one could escape.
  4. ...
  5. Before I was engulfed, God set me up in a place in the sky that held together by pillows; a few people were there. I was appaud to be caught up. I wondered what was going on. Shortly, we, the peo...

Rise Above

Posted by Corey Mills on Friday, October 13, 2017, In : Daily Flow
We were taught that we are kings and queens. Is this a truth? Certainly, many of the people on Earth could examine their lives and know they are valued, but experience no evidence of royalty. Bills, Government taxes, tariffs, and daily expenses seems to rule over us. Is it that the Earth is king over us? The rules, guidelines and laws issued seem to dictate the actions of civilization. It is ironic that men make the law we are subjected to. We bound ourselves from being men and women of full ...

God's Grace Is Sufficient

Posted by Corey Mills on Thursday, October 12, 2017, In : Daily Flow
As you may have read in the Daily Verse, Psalms 94:18-19 in the King James Version is written, "When I said, my foot slippeth, Thy mercy, O Lord, holds me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul.

A man spoke to God in such a way that says, "I am a mess, but I aim to keep my focus on you." Who in this world can say they are like this man? Who in this world can say, "I don't associate myself with this person because of my judgement against him or her"? Who can ...

Could God's Heart Be Broken?

Posted by Corey Mills on Saturday, December 12, 2015, In : Daily Flow
In the book of Genesis, it is written that God made man in His image. In that, we will see that He made us full of love, full of life, full of happiness- with an amazingly honorable attributes that did nothing but glorify God. But today, we find ourselves broken so badly that we can't even ask God for forgiveness. Some of us today declare that we honor God and that we think of Him when we live; however, we can't even find it in our hearts to pray and thank God for His grace and gifts that we ...

We Have To Keep Moving

Posted by Corey Mills on Monday, December 7, 2015, In : Walk Over
There will be those who come up against you when God says, "Move." If you trust the Lord, in the midst of your opposition let the Lord have His way. In other words, don't incur hatred of those people, but love the Lord. And if you love the Lord, you will love those people. Opposition is always present, and the first person who dishes it is 'Self'. Entering into abnormal actions, or those actions that you are not use to, cause us to question did God say do this. But I'm here to tell you that w...

If You Can't Trust God, Trust His Works

Posted by Corey Mills on Saturday, November 28, 2015, In : Conversations about the Holy Word and People
"There is no coincidence," Tory said, "that this man received his sight after twenty years of being blind!"  The professor says, "Well, there is a scientific explanation for that! The body regenerates what it needs to be 100% efficient..."  After hearing the professor's explanation, Tory says, "This is what happened: I was in prayer; consulting my God about what I should do and guidance on how I show solve my problems- as I was walking to the store. In my spirit, I heard... Professor laughs a...

Do You Feel Bad For Breaking Promises?

Posted by Corey Mills on Monday, November 23, 2015, In : Daily Flow
A large part of humanity lived this life making promises they may have not been able to keep, or promises they could keep and found it easier to just let it slide. Have you ever made a promise to God; one of those times where you stated that you would never do something again? Have you ever broken some of those promises? More than likely, the answer is, "Yes!" Is it okay? God understands that we are human and that our minds don't retain information like His. He knows that we are human. Someti...

Trust God

Posted by Corey Mills on Thursday, November 19, 2015, In : Daily Flow
In our walk of faith in the Lord, there are times where our vision or mind may become clouded as to what we should do. This normally happens when we have our desires and want God's desires at the same time. In a moment of trusting in God's order, we may find that God is leading us in a direction where we become more dependent upon Him and not ourselves. What I mean by this is that our desires could have awesome motives and could be for the Lord. In your forward efforts, it is better to always...

Lord, Help Me.

Posted by Corey Mills on Thursday, September 24, 2015, In : For You
It's going to be alright!  Everything is going to be alright!  I understand that sometime mes these words I just don't cut it, and the failure at success weighs heavy on our hearts. The realization of our Lord's purpose can help us understand that we sometimes go through things so others don't have to. Please, we love you. Just give this a second thought. Even though you may feel that no one knows you, we will all miss you when you're gone. Simply put, we will all endure very similar pains. W...

We Are Made To Love

Posted by Corey Mills on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, In : Daily Flow
In the Light of the Lord's word, we can see that we are perfectly individual; not as a species, but as a soul directly connected to the Father as a breath of Life. How marvelously are we made! Satan knows that, and he stands to persuade us to be disconnected from the Father (by our works, intentions, feelings, desires, pride, etc...). He just wants what God has. His jealousy of his Creator (Our Creator) caused him to utterly fall. Now, he wants to claim God's breath of Life- our souls- and us...

You Are The Difference

Posted by Corey Mills on Thursday, August 8, 2013, In : For You
God Creates individuals to be who He needs them to be.  Their Character; values and motives, help determine their actions. However, God's ultimate choice may not be executed if individuals don't acknowledge and seek HIM for the direction HE wants to lead His people.

Can I lead a "People" with my personality?

Yes. Whether or not our personality is studious, professional, lazy illogical, common or different, we lead people to believe some form of an idea of our character is a blessing or curse; e...

What Can Life Teach Us

Posted by Corey Mills on Monday, July 11, 2011, In : Personal Analysis (Group Posting Encouraged)
In The Beginning was The Word... In one's study of the Holy Bible, he or she would find out that God is Life. In the book of Genesis it reads that God breathed the breath of life into the physical form of man, and man became a living soul. He who embraces life has obtained it already, but he who speaks of obtaining life through the wisdom of the world has embraced death already. For no man can enter into the kingdom but by the Wisdom of God; the Son of Life, the Holy One, The Advocate, the Sa...
