In the Light of the Lord's word, we can see that we are perfectly individual; not as a species, but as a soul directly connected to the Father as a breath of Life. How marvelously are we made! Satan knows that, and he stands to persuade us to be disconnected from the Father (by our works, intentions, feelings, desires, pride, etc...). He just wants what God has. His jealousy of his Creator (Our Creator) caused him to utterly fall. Now, he wants to claim God's breath of Life- our souls- and use them against Him. He wants every thing that God created to be detached and thrown away as he was and still is. God forgives you if you ask. And He is here to restore you. I can truly stand before you and say its hard to stop sinning when sin is all I know. God offers us new life, and that- Family- comes from being reborn in the Spirit of God (holiness) and through His Word. Amen.  We're here to help.
